How To Make The Crunchy Taco Shepherd's Pie From Taco Bell's 8th Annual Friendsgiving

Don't expect leftovers.

Every November, we look forward to hosting a Friendsgiving dinner at Taco Bell Headquarters. This festive evening is our way of toasting to new friends and giving thanks to our day ones. Ohhh… and our Friendsgiving meal is anything but traditional. Our food innovation team creates a brand new menu every year, adding a Taco Bell twist to every dish (Check out some of our past recipes here and here).

Our Friendsgiving Table featuring our Crunchy Taco Shepherd’s Pie, BAJA BLAST® Glazed Roasted Root Vegetables, Toasted Cheddar Chalupa Delights, Fresh Baked Rolls with Hot Sauce Packet Butter, and Spiced Dragon Fruit Sangria.

While we’re bummed we can’t party in person this year, we’re taking a more unique approach and bringing the tradition straight to our guests’ homes… and yours. Join us in celebrating from afar and creating our favorite holiday dish on this year’s menu - The Crunchy Taco Shepherd’s Pie.

Whether your roommates are your guests of honor or you’re gathering virtually, follow the instructions below to bring to life this one-of-a-kind dish at your Friendsgiving.
