Feed The Beat Artist Spotlight: Robert DeLong
If you haven’t listened to Robert DeLong yet, you need to right now. Robert is a legitimate one-man-band, mixing his tracks live using MIDI interfaces, guitars, drum pads, keyboards, laptops, video game controllers, and a full set of drums. Plus, he dances non-stop and sings live in every performance. Every musical thought goes straight from his brain to his instruments to your ears - and it sounds just as good as you’d imagine.
Robert is one of the newer faces in our Feed the Beat program, which supports up-and-coming artists while helping fans discover new bands and bands discover new fans. So when we partnered with Pandora® for a free show at the infamous Double Door in Chicago, enlisting Robert to headline it was a no-brainer.
Have a couple minutes? Of course you do. Take a look at this exclusive footage from the show in Chicago, along with an intimate interview with Robert himself. Oh, and if you’re wondering what that song is in the video that’s now going to be stuck in your head, it’s called “Long Way Down” and it’s on Robert’s brand new album In The Cards.
You can listen to more live tracks from the show on the Pandora® Feed The Beat Mixtape.
