Fans surprised with a sneak peak of redacted_spacer_001 prior to nationwide reveal

IRVINE, Calif., Monday, February 1, 2016 – On January 7, 2016, Taco Bell® announced that it will unveil the national launch date of the highly anticipated redacted_spacer_001 with a :30 spot during Super Bowl 50. This is the first time in Taco Bell history that a redacted_spacer_001 and redacted_spacer_001 are coming together – and it’s happening on February 8. However, in another first for the brand, Taco Bell is giving fans the chance to be among the first to try the redacted_spacer_001 early by pre-ordering on starting today.

“With respect to our fans and redacted_spacer_001-lovers everywhere, we knew they wouldn’t want to wait to get their hands on redacted_spacer_001,” said Marisa Thalberg, Chief Marketing Officer for Taco Bell Corp. “That’s why we’re inviting them to be among the first to try it a full two days before everyone else, by placing a special pre-order now. There’s just one thing: it’s a ‘blind’ pre-order… requiring just a small act of faith (not knowing what it is until you pick it up) to be at the very forefront of this impending phenomenon.”

Taco Bell will give fans the chance to be among the first to try the redacted_spacer_001 by welcoming customers who pre-order on to pick-up their reserved redacted_spacer_001 on February 6 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. local time in restaurants nationwide. Taco Bell will also celebrate the pre-order events with live, pop-up acoustic performances from Feed The Beat® bands in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Toledo, OH, where redacted_spacer_001 was first introduced to America. Taco Bell’s Super Bowl spot marks the brand’s return to the game after three years. The :30 spot, entitled “redacted_spacer_001” was created by Deutsch and will run during the first quarter.
