How To Indulge In Guilt-free Taco Bell Any Time Of Day

Because you want that summer bod and that taco

It’s bikini and boardshorts season and your summer bod is at the top of your priority list. But, so are tacos. And burritos. And quesadillas. Okay, you get the point. So, what if we told you that you could have it all? Well, in moderation, of course. We checked in with Taco Bell’s registered dietitian, Missy Schaaphok, to get her recommendations on what to order when you want to enjoy Taco Bell any time of day, but keep it balanced. Let’s start with the most important meal of the day, breakfast.

Half of our breakfast menu is less than 400 calories, so you can feel good starting your day with Taco Bell breakfast. Here are a sampling of menu items you could try in the morning:
    1. Breakfast Soft Taco add Pico de Gallo
    2. Grilled Breakfast Burrito “Fresco Style”
    3. Premium Hot Coffee
    4. Lipton® Unsweetened Iced Tea

Snack Time
Each of the snack options below are under 200 calories and range between 6 to 10 grams of protein. They are great for when you want something satisfying, but not too big. For a snack, you should be looking for a balance of protein, plus good fats and fiber to hold you over until your next meal. Give these menu items a try if you’re looking for a snack:
    1. Crunchy Taco
    2. Black Beans & Rice
    3. Shredded Chicken Mini Quesadilla

High Protein Lunch
Looking to power up at lunch with some major protein? Our Power Menu has menu items with high protein and a lot of flavor. The Power Menu, like everything on our menu, uses premium ingredients and fresh produce – plus guacamole made from real hass avocados and classic Taco Bell flavors like real cheddar cheese and reduced-fat sour cream. Each Power Menu Burrito and Bowl is packed with at least 20 grams of protein, for 510 calories or less.
    1. Power Menu Bowl
    2. Power Menu Burrito

Carb-Conscious Dinner
Our menu is completely customizable. As it should be, because it’s all about you when it comes to what you eat. And if you want to limit your carb intake, we’ve got an easy way for you to do that with any Taco Bell menu item: remove the tortilla, and rice if present, and put it in a bowl.
